As the Chinese market booms, more and more overseas students and Chinese who worked in the U.S. return to China for opportunities and challenges. In China, we call these people “ Sea Turtles”. Ms Wang will illustrate how international experience brings value to overseas Chinese in their careers in China. By attending this session, you will learn about the culture shock/obstacles in moving back to China, as well as the HR issues and solutions related to Sea Turtles. This session will help you develop your own strategy for managing overseas returning employees for your operation in China.
About the speaker: Angela brings over 15 years of experience in Human Resources with large multinational corporations both in China and North America. She has worked with Procter & Gamble (China) Ltd, and Clorox at their various locations in China, Canada and the San Francisco area. Angela brings extensive HR experience in compensation & benefits, training, international relocation, as well as generalist in sales, manufacturing and various corporate functions.
She is currently based in Xiamen with Dell Computers, China as a senior HR Manager.
